OpenGLAM Austria Kicks Off

October 23, 2013 in News

Following the successful launch of the Open Knowledge Foundation Chapter in Austria there has been growing interest in how the open knowledge community there can help to push forward the open culture agenda. Now the two initiators of this drive Sylvia Petrovic-Majer and Bernhard Haslhofer, winner of the Open Humanities Awards, are proudly announcing the OpenGLAM Kick-Off meeting in Vienna on October 24th, 6 p.m.

As a first public activity we will host an event at the Museumsquartier in the centre of Vienna. Three lightning talks focused on open knowledge in art and culture will support a following participatory dialogue with all attendees. More information on the day’s schedule can be found here.
