Open Definition
One of the most important resources for OpenGLAM is the Open Definition project, which gives a concise definition of what open means and keeps a log of compliant licenses.
The Open Definition can be summed up as:
“A piece of data or content is open if anyone is free to use, reuse, and redistribute it — subject only, at most, to the requirement to attribute and/or share-alike.”
